2017 Estate Pinot Noir x6
The 2017 Drummond Farm Pinot Noir is a true expression of what the vineyard developed into in such a challanging climatic year, with a wide array of Pinot Noir clones planted in the vineyard. We chose two rows from each clone and co-fermented them together with 23% whole bunch.
12 hour cold soak with cap managment twice daily helped bring out the best in what each clone had to offer.
A significantly more refined, eligant, perfumed selection of clones that when managed well the clones used have the ability to become a high quality wine.
The wine was matured in 6-7 year old french oak barrels for 10 months on fine less.
We are proud to say this wine is unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulphur prior to bottling!
