The grapes grown to make the 2017 Chardonnay are the oldest on the farm being planted in 1994 on its own roots.
Produced from low yeilding Mendoza clone of Chardonnay, it was hand picked before being gently foot pressed in a traditional French basket press.
Fermentation occured naturally in barrel where it was left to mature in 6-7 year old neutral French oak barrels for 13 months.
We are proud to say this wine is unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulphur prior to bottling!
Grown in 2016 - Harvested in 2017 - Matured in barrel until 2018 and finally bottled in July 2018
